Six months’ warranty with your next car

Every car supplied by Nationwide Motor Co comes with six months' warranty. It is included with your vehicle purchase, rather than being a reason to overlook the car's condition, history or maintenance needs.

Warranty cover has terms, exclusions and limits. Before purchase, ask for the policy applying to the particular vehicle so you can check what is covered, any contribution you may have to pay and the steps required if something goes wrong. A warranty does not replace or reduce your statutory consumer rights.

Understand the cover before you buy

Do not assume that every repair, component or diagnostic charge is included. Check the policy's covered components, claim limits, labour-rate limits, exclusions, servicing requirements and any excess. The vehicle's age, mileage and the policy terms can affect a claim.

For a hybrid or electric car, ask specifically about cover for the traction battery, charging system and electric-drive components. For a performance car, check the policy treatment of any modifications. The written policy is the source of the cover details.

If your car develops a problem

Contact us and follow the claims instructions supplied with your policy before authorising non-emergency repair work. Tell us which car you bought, the symptoms, when they appeared and any warning messages. Do not continue driving if it may be unsafe or could cause further damage.

Keep the vehicle's service and maintenance records, diagnosis and relevant invoices. We can explain how to contact the warranty administrator and discuss concerns about the vehicle itself.

Questions about your warranty

Is the six-month warranty included in the advertised price?

Yes. The six-month warranty is included with the vehicle purchase. Ask for the written cover applying to your selected car.

Does a warranty cover every fault?

No. A warranty is subject to its covered components, conditions, exclusions and financial limits. Read the policy before relying on a particular type of cover.

Can I ask about longer cover?

Yes. Ask the team about any available extension, its cost and its terms. Do not assume that extra cover is included unless it is confirmed in your order.
