Put your current car towards your next one

Found a car you like? Tell us about the vehicle you currently own and we can discuss a part-exchange valuation alongside your next purchase.

Start with your registration, current mileage and an honest description of the condition. Select the Nationwide Motor Co vehicle you are considering in the form below. The more accurately you describe your car, the more useful the initial discussion can be.

What to have ready

  • Your registration and current mileage.
  • Make, model and transmission.
  • Service-history information, MOT details and the number of keys.
  • Details of damage, warning lights, modifications or repairs you know about.
  • Information about any outstanding finance, including a current settlement figure when available.

Do not send account passwords, bank-card details or identity documents in the general enquiry message. The team will explain any secure document requirements separately.

How the valuation works

An initial estimate depends on the details supplied and is not a guaranteed purchase price. The final valuation is subject to checking the vehicle, its condition, history and ownership details. Tell us if its mileage or condition changes before handover.

If finance remains outstanding, ask how the settlement will be handled. If the settlement exceeds the agreed valuation, the difference must be discussed before an order is agreed. Do not assume it disappears into the next agreement.

Choose your next car

Browse current stock and compare suitable cars before sending your valuation request. We can discuss a cash purchase or a finance application. Finance is subject to status, affordability and lender approval; we are a credit broker, not a lender.

Just want to sell? Use our sell your car form instead.
